Private Practice
We work as part of the team at Adelaide Health Care, renting rooms as independent contractors and working collaboratively with the GP's and other allied health who also work on site. We also take referrals from outside the GP practice, people can self-refer or have a referral from their GP or specialist.
About Adelaide Health Care:
Adelaide Health Care opened in 1999 as an independent association of five general practitioners. Over the years we have steadily grown and we now have fifteen General Practitioners working at the practice. We have three Primary Health Care Nurses who are essential to our team approach. We have a number of GPs who work in special interest areas.
Our aim is to provide high quality health service to people who live, work or study in the city or nearby suburbs. In addition to the more traditional medical care of illness, we promote better health by focusing on illness prevention and improving well-being, both physically and emotionally.
We aim to support patients to learn about their health and healthy living.

Rhea is currently on Maternity leave and will be returning to work in July 2024 on the below listed days:
Monday 1.30-4.30pm (face-to-face & Telehealth)
Friday 9.30am-4.30pm (face-to-face & Telehealth)
Cost $203.50 (50min Appointment)
Celeste
Wednesday 1.30-5.30pm (face-to-face & Telehealth)
Thursday 1.30-5.30pm (face-to-face & Telehealth)
Cost $165 (50min Appointment)
Cancellation Policy: $50 fee charged if less than 24hrs notice given for cancelling the appointment and/or non-attendance at a scheduled appointment time. This fee is payable prior to booking another appointment.

Referrals
Individuals can self-refer and may be eligible for a rebate through their respective private health fund, up to the amount determined by their provider. We have on the spot private health claiming available for all appointments.
Alternatively, referrals can be made under Medicare with a GP or specialist, individuals will receive a rebate of $58 through the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), for up to 5 visits for a TCA/GPMP or 20 for an Eating Disorder Plan in a 12-month period. A copy of the care plan is appreciated prior to the initial appointment, if we do not have the plan details, we will not be able to process your rebate on the day. Clients are required to pay the subsequent gap at each consult.

Supervision
Rhea provides Supervision to other Dietitians in the areas of Eating Disorders, Size inclusive health and Counselling Skills. You can download a copy of the supervision contract, which details fees and expectations of engaging in supervision as a clinician.
